In Poland, they employ over 4,000 employees and manufacture in 7 production plants in 3 locations. In addition, a Business Support Center employing over 140 people is located in Gdańsk.

The ongoing trend of using smart technology to automate production and industrial practices offers significant opportunities for our client. To leverage these opportunities, new technology has been developed to digitalize and automate the value chain from roe to plate.  The system is a  digital strategy set to revolutionize the business and the journey is well underway with technologies such as advanced camera and sensor technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), image recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, big data, and analytics already introduced.

Now we are looking for an IT BUSINESS ANALYST QLIK VIEW/ QLIK SENSE

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the business on the journey to becoming a data-driven enterprise
• help the business to drive value and insights from data by delivering insightful and easy-to-use reporting solutions
• analyze and visualize data to bring it to life for the user community
• support in migrating reports from SQL server into Snowflake
• gather, design, develop and implement reports and KPI dashboards, using tools such as Power BI
• help build and improve data models in cooperation with the business and back-end development resources
• support and automate decision-making using cutting-edge technology, including AI.

Candidates are expected to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, Master’s degree preferred
• 4-8 years experience in a senior-level data management role
• good knowledge of Power BI tools
• knowledge of data models and platforms e.g. Snowflake
• advanced knowledge of SQL
• ability to work as a bridge between IT and the business, across different departments and different cultures
• deep business understanding
• strong analytic skills
• understanding of data science and relevant data tools and methodologies
• strong communication skills in English
• experience in Python will be a benefit.
