Our client is one of the largest seafood companies in the world and the largest producer of Atlantic salmon. The company employs over 14,000 people worldwide and is present in 25 countries.
In 2017, the company achieved a turnover of 3.7 billion euros. They provide healthy, tasty, and sustainably farmed salmon and processed seafood in over 80 markets around the world. In 2017,  the company’s salmon harvest amounted to 370,000 tonnes (GWE).
In Poland, they employ over 4,000 employees and manufacture in 7 production plants in 3 locations. In addition, a Business Support Center employing over 140 people is located in Gdańsk.

Now we are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing Team of  BI Developers plus externals
• managing high-level plan according to PowerBI Implementation stages
• designing and applying methods based on machine learning and deep learning to solve various business problems
• cooperating with Global BI team
• leading the delivery of the backlog to achieve business needs.

Candidates are expected to have:

• A master’s degree in business, engineering, computer science
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, visualization and business intelligence
• 2+ years of experience in projects mgmt and/or team management
• good knowledge of Power BI tools
• knowledge of data models and platforms e.g. Snowflake
• advanced knowledge of SQL
• deep business understanding
• strong analytic skills
• understanding of data science and relevant data tools and methodologies
• strong communication skills in English
• experience in Python will be a benefit.
