ENGINEER IIOT/PRODUCT OWNER
Our client is one of the largest seafood companies in the world and the largest producer of Atlantic salmon. The company employs over 14,000 people worldwide and is present in 25 countries. In 2017, the company achieved a turnover of 3.7 billion euros. They provide healthy, tasty, and sustainably farmed salmon and processed seafood in over 80 markets around the world. In 2017, the company’s salmon harvest amounted to 370,000 tonnes (GWE). In Poland, they employ over 4,000 employees and manufacture in 7 production plants in 3 locations. In addition, a Business Support Center employing over 140 people is located in Gdańsk.
Now we are looking for an Engineer IIOT/ Product Owner
LOCATION: Ustka/ Europe
Job responsibilities:
- Managing the implementation of Industrial IOT (IIOT) Globally
- researching, reviewing, and leveraging potential technology integration for shop floor machines
- leading and managing projects assigned
- improving and standardizing data communication across shop floor solutions
- creating technical documentation
- preparing and implementing support processes in cooperation with the maintenance, innovation, and IT departments
- integrating with cloud solutions ( Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience with a successful implementation of automation projects in FMCG ( eg. AVG, IIOT)
- strong manufacturing IT Infrastructure background
- intermediate Network skills
- good understanding of Programmable Logic controller, Industrial PC, and sensor
- basic understanding of programming is a plus
- good understanding of cloud technology, SQL, and middleware services
- some experience in testing, installation, or maintenance in MES systems or development is a plus
- project management skills
- diploma in Computer/Information Technology/ Automation Engineering or other related fields.
